A new documentary by Daimon Xanthopoulos, Tame the Dark is set for release soon. The 54-minute film explores the lived reality of Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy type 2i (LGMD2i) through intimate portraits of individuals and families facing the slow, often invisible progression of the disease. Through the lives of CJ, Lacey, Josh, Jennifer, and Jackson, the film brings into view the often invisible struggle of living with this disease and the slow yet profound way it reshapes every part of life. Their stories speak to resilience and vulnerability alike, carrying both the weight of uncertainty and the hope for a cure.
The new full length documentary will be released in the coming months and later made available through partner channels.
