HIDDEN SLAVES – child domestic workers

Through the story of Tania, a 9-year-old girl from Bangladesh, this film reveals the often unseen world of child domestic labour. Hidden behind closed doors and separated from their families, children like Tania work in conditions that leave them exposed to abuse, violence, and neglect.

The trailer had an international impact, helping to amplify calls for stronger ILO measures to protect children from exploitation as domestic workers. The production was supported logistically by Terre des Hommes, an organisation that provides direct aid to children, raises awareness, and pushes for legal protection against forms of exploitation such as child domestic labour.
